Fostering a passion for cyber security |
Dear readers,
At this year’s Geneva Cyber 9/12 Challenge, the thirty international teams were confronted with a particularly complex cyber security scenario. Within two days, the student teams had to analyse the evolving situation, develop their policy recommendations, and present them in front of high-ranking decision-makers. The two ETH teams Lémanners and Soteria made it amongst the top 4 – congratulations!
A big part of that success is likely due to the thorough, two-months training provided by the ETH Cyber Group. The student group is dedicated to fostering a passion for cyber security among ETH students. Learn more about the group and its mission in a recent interview.
Find out about further news and events at the department in this edition of READ.ME.
I wish you a good end to the semester, and a smooth start to the semester break.
Best regards,
