What no one expected – genetically modified organisms in which no foreign DNA has been inserted are to be exempted from the moratorium on genetic engineering. The fact that Parliament does not want to double the cohesion contribution, on the other hand, was more predictable.

Fish inventory in 35 lakes completed
|
In the "Projet Lac" research project, 35 lakes in the Alpine region have been, for the first time, systematically examined for their fish populations: In Switzerland alone, 106 fish species have been detected. With almost 20% of all known fish species in Europe, Switzerland is one of the hotspots for fish species diversity.
