Dear reader,

In this edition, we are delighted to introduce the Social Impact Pioneer Fellowship, an acceleration programme to develop research-based technologies into scalable products/services with a social impact.

From affordable diagnostics to urban humanitarian housing, ETH researchers remain dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for pressing global challenges. You can find more information about these endeavours in the Innovation Section.

For students looking ahead to the next semester, we invite you to explore the Learning Section, where you can discover a selection of courses, including a short skills course for doctoral students on open science tools.

In the People Section, we acknowledge Patricia Heuberger from our ETH4D Executive Office, who has departed after 13 years at ETH Zurich. We also extend our congratulations to E4D Doctoral Fellow BJ Ward for receiving the ETH medal in recognition of her outstanding doctoral thesis.

New Video! Finally, we are happy to share our video, which shows some highlights of ETH4D's research activities and educational partnerships.

We hope you enjoy the read,

The ETH4D Team
