Dear reader,

With the start of the semester, we are excited to share new projects, courses and events to advance global sustainable development.

Join us at the Storytelling Event "African Leadership for a Sustainable Future, co-organised with the African Students Association of Zurich (ASAZ) and the Student Project House. Discuss careers in sustainability and development at our Career Lunch, or pitch your idea for a sustainable future at our SDG Pitch Event. In February, you can visit the exhibition "Mobility and Inclusion" at the ETH main building.

In the Innovation section, you can read more about two new projects dedicated to developing an AI teaching assistant and empowering informal workers. We are also happy to announce our first Social Impact Pioneer Fellow Grace Kagho with UrbanEcho, who develops digital twin technology for sustainable planning!

If you are interested in strengthening your skills in making visible and disrupting discriminatory practices in research and teaching, join our Skills Course on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in April.

We hope to see you soon.
