HEST.PULSE (03/2022)
Dear all at D-HEST

This new issue of HEST.PULSE is dedicated to only one topic: The celebrations of the 10th anniversary of D-HEST on 30 September 2022.

We had prepared an afternoon full of information, surprises and entertainment. It was great to see so many of you at the event, and even more so, to see you enjoying what was presented. During just about three hours the many research fields we engage in and the three study programs offered by D-HEST were presented in a humourous and relaxed way. Thus, we all learned from each other and there was much to discuss during the apéro that was offered afterwards.

We would like to thank Detlef Günther, ETH Vice President for Research, for taking his time and honoring us not only with his kind words, but also by presenting us with a gift that will remind us of our first decade for many years to come. Thank you also to all the institutes, research groups and directors of studies for their lively contributions and the tremendous amount of work they put into making this event a success. Thank you to the panelists for a most interesting discussion, and thank you also to Reto Togni for taking photographs throughout the event.

We hope that you will enjoy reading the article about the event, watching the video recording, or looking at the photographs!

Kind regards,
Laura Nyström, Head of Department
Bill Taylor, Deputy Head of Department
