Newsletter 6/2022
Dear reader

We look forward to an interesting fall season full of events and activities. Just to pick a few, we have an event on future food systems and a public tour at the ETH-BSSE Lab for Synthetic Biology in Basel. ZIHP comes up with a new round of its lecture series “Wissen schaf(f) Wissen”, starting with insights in the effects of environmental stress on human health. We also hear an ETH professor talk about personal experiences as a rehabilitation patient. Read more about these and other topics in the newsletter.

Best regards,

Food Day @ETH
Food Day @ETH
This yearly event brings together a diverse audience from academia, industry, government and international organizations for discussions and workshops on food systems innovation and research. The event program looks back on more than 10 years of food system research, education, and dialogue facilitated by the World Food System Center.

Food Day @ETH will kick off with workshops in the afternoon, focusing on scientific topics as well as the role of education and communication in building future food systems. At the plenary session, we will hear from experts what is needed to build food systems that are resilient and sustainable. A networking poster session highlighting ongoing research and Center activities offers participants the chance to interact directly with researchers.

Program and registration see the website.
