Communicating Animal and Human Research
In February, Switzerland will vote on an initiative that wants to ban all human research, all animal research and all new therapies that result from this research.

As this will generate quite a lot of attention on biomedical research, the grassroots think tank «Reatch» is looking for scientists in the field of biomedical research who are willing to talk about their research on social media (a little bit like on the Twitter account "real scientists" https://twitter.com/realscientists). Researchers do not need to directly work with animals or humans but can also come from related fields.

We recently organised a public information week (see www.reatch.ch/WirSchaffenWissen) and would like to repeat this with interested people sometime in the future.

Organisation: Reatch! Research. Think. Change. (www.reatch.ch)

We welcome researchers from all field who work directly or indirectly in animal or human research.
That means: You don't have to perform research on humans or animals yourself in order to participated. For example, if you work with human or animal cell cultures or computer simulations in a wet lab, if you are a statistician or a nurse in a medical trial or if you are animal care taker in a lab, you are also very welcome to sign up.
