TEQx Workshops

TEQx is a workshop series focusing on technical aspects of research in the Quantum Center. The aim of this series is to share the technical insights behind the scientific headlines that could be useful to other groups.

Description

The initiative for a technical exchange workshop originated from inputs made by participants during the Quantum Center General Meeting in 2022 at Schatzalp, Davos. It was argued that many technical solutions are developed in parallel by several groups. To avoid "reinventing the wheel", the TEQx (technical exchange) seminars aim to make researchers and technicians aware of what other groups are developing so that they can use and/or improve each others' existing solutions.

The workshop includes a 20 min presentation part in which up to 5 members of different groups give a quick overview of a technical solution used in their group. Afterwards, a 40 min breakout discussion follows where participants have the opportunity to discuss each of the solutions presented in detail.
